Our current technical manager is retiring and we are looking for his replacement who enjoys working with technical tasks both from the office and in the field.

Geonor is a leading supplier of instruments and services for monitoring groundwater, precipitation and other natural forces that can threaten society's infrastructure. With climate change and more extreme weather, the need for automated monitoring and more measurement points is increasing.

The company is a pioneer in the development of oscillating-string sensors for various applications. Geonor's proprietary rain gauges, including those with wireless data transmission, have been very successful internationally. Over 4,000 such systems have been delivered to Nordic countries, Spain, the USA, Canada, China and more.

Job duties:

• Advice and guidance to customers and colleagues on geotechnical, hydrological and meteorological equipment and systems
• If necessary, carry out field work, primarily in the Oslo area
• Improve and develop the company's services and products
• Participate in customer meetings and quotation work

We would like you to have the following background and characteristics:

• Education relevant to the position
• Background in geotechnical engineering, geology or other appropriate expertise
• Experience as a technical project manager or team leader is an advantage
• Thrives with a high level of activity and varied work tasks
• Good collaboration skills, both internally and externally
• Solid expertise in the use of digital tools
• Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Driving license class B(E)
