Compact laser sensor for measuring snow depth.
Can measure snow depth at a distance of up to 15m with millimeter precision. The sensor can be mounted at an angle of up to 45º in a vertical plane. Maintenance-free and safe in operation from -40 - +50ºC.
Has the option of background color detection (black/white balance). This makes it possible, for example, to detect when the ground starts to turn white during snowfall.
SHM-30/31 has digital connection (RS-232/485) or standard 4-20mA.
