Geonor's piston sampler (54mm and 76mm) is the original, and still the most widely used, sampler in Norway. These are of high quality and are designed for both undisturbed and stirred (representative) samples. Both versions, as well as specially adapted transport boxes, are stocked.

The most commonly used samplers in Norway are Geonor's K-100 and K-200 piston samplers. These are of high quality and are designed for both undisturbed and stirred (representative) samples. The samplers can be supplied for different sample diameters and for use in different soil types.
The K-100 and K-200 samplers can easily be modified to be used with all types of cylinders; 54 mm steel/plastic and 76 mm steel.
54mm sampler, plastic cylinder, K-100 Effective sample length for the K-100 model is 700 mm. The sampler can be used on drilling rigs without dismantling the rods and sampler between each sampling. The K-100 model is equipped with interchangeable edges. A thin-walled edge for undisturbed samples in silt and clay, and a coarse edge for sandy soils. Sample catcher can be used together with the coarse edge.
